The Kerala folklore festival in 14 venues across Kerala

Time: 6pm

Venues: Andhakaranazhi (Alappuzha dt), Bekal (Kasaragod Dt), Fort Kochi (Ernakulam Dt), Guruvayur (Thrissur Dt), Kadammanitta (Pathanamthitta Dt), Kannur, Karlad Lake (Wayanad), Kollam, Kottayam, Kovalam (Thiruvananthapuram Dt), Kozhikode, Kumily (Idukki Dt), Malappuram and Sreekrishnapuram (Palakkad Dt), (Total 12 venues; one venue from each district of Kerala)

Ulsavam is a festival that showcases the traditional folk art forms of Kerala and organized by Department of Tourism, Govt of Kerala. An average of 15 performances will be staged in each venue, spread across all the 14 districts of Kerala.

Some of the art forms performed here are Thirayattam,  Theyyam, Thidambunrutham, Kakkarissi natakam, Chavittu Natakam, Kolkkali, Tholpavakoothu, Nokkupavakkali, Vattapattu, Oppana, Kurathiyattam, Velakali, Kanyarkali, Gaddhika, Yakshaganam, Margam Kali, Mangalam Kali, Nadanpattu, Kethrattam, Poorakkali, Kooliyattam, Chimmanakkali, Padayani, Parichamuttukali, Kalampattu, Ninabali, Chavittukali, Vilpaattu, Cheruneeliyattam, Duffmuttu, Maapilapattu, Mudiyettu, Charaduoinnikkali, Thiriuzhichil etc.
