Chakyarkoothu : A monologue in which the performer narrates the stories from mythology, satirically relating it to the socio-political situations.
Chavittu Natakam : The theatre tradition of Christians in Kerala, where artists use colourful stage props and costumes to enact stories from Christian mythology and history. During the play, the artists keep tapping their feet on the floor, rhythmically, and hence the name Chavittu Natakam.
Choottu : Fire torch made of dry coconut leaves.
Chavittukali : Folk dance performed in group, usually during ceremonious occasions, by a particular community, along with folk song.
