Commemorating, the 150th Birthday of the great poet Rabindranath Tagore, NatanaKaisaki celebrated the Mohiniyatta Mahotsav 2011. The festival commenced on the 26th of December 2011 and concluded on 31st December.  The highlight of the festival was the Mohiniyattam choreography based on a portion taken from Tagore's Chithrangadha. The dance was choreographed in a the Saptam format staged as “ Arjuna's Darshana Saptam”.

Mohiniyattam Rangapravesha by Ms. Sudharma Periyath, Thiruvathirakali by the dancers of NatanaKaisiki, NangiyarKoothu  by Mrs. KapilaVenu was ParvathiViraham and Krishna stuthi keertham by Keiko Okano with Natyaprabandham by Anupama Menon, Astapathy by Anima, are staged during these days. The concluding day is dedicated to the renowned poet of Kerala Late Vailopilli Sreedhara Menon, to commemorate his 100th birth year. The students of the NatanaKaisiki Mohiniyattam Gurukulam danced to the verses chosen from his poem 'Palatharamam nadhangal'  choreographed by the director of NatanaKaisiki Smt. NirmalaPanikker.  The festival was complete in itself with demonstrations and performances which included the repertoire of Cholkettu, Jathiswaram, Padam, Ashtapadi, Thillana, Slokam and Saptam.
