This is the 9th visit to Kerala by Kerry Lawson, a Yoga teacher from Canada and she was accompanied by three ladies, who are also Yoga teachers. Kerry's holiday trips to India are designed in such a way that while travelling in different parts in Kerala or India, a Yoga master from Kerala usually accompanies her to give advanced training in yoga as well as to teach the travelers the philosophy and religion of India. It was as usual the Yoga master Punoor Gopalakrishnan from Edakkad, Kozhikode. All those who travel with Kerry are Yoga trainers who run yoga classes in Canada. According to them, the advanced training in Yoga, Indian meditation and spiritual discourses help them to teach these techniques in their country, especially among students, professionals, prisoners, and the aged. Kerry Lawson has been in this profession for the last 17 years and she also conducts Yoga Trips in India and to some other countries (www.arjuna.ca). Kerry said that she is in Kerala/India to explore the spiritual side of Yoga and she is very much comfortable with the present master Yogacharya Punoor Gopalakrishnan. During their trip they have experienced the life and culture of Kerala, visited many tourist places in Kerala, Coorg and North India.
