Cheruthuruthy, Thrissur Dt, Kerala

International Festival of Kutiyattam is the 60th anniversary celebrations of the establishment of Department of Kutiyattam at Kerala Kalamandalam Deemed to be University for Art and Culture at Cheruthuruthy, Thrissur district, Kerala.  The five day festival features Seminars, Debates, lecture demonstrations, cultural meetings and performances of Kutiyattam and allied art forms. The core theme of the festival is ‘Kutiyattam- yesterday, today and tomorrow’.  The event is organized by Kerala Kalamandalam Deemed to be University for art and Culture, Cheruthuruthy. 

29 July 2025/Tuesday:

09.30am- Inaugural ceremony

10.30am- Seminar on Natyasasthram

03.00pm- Pancharimelam in Mizhavu, presented by Kalamandalam Achuthanandan & team

04.00pm- debate on organizing and appreciation in the contemporary scenario. 

06.30pm- Kutiyattam performance
