17- 22 Dec 2026: Radholsavam at Navaneetha Gopalakrishnaswami Kshethram, Elapully Agraharam

17 Dec - Kodiyettam / Flag Hoisting- ceremonial start of the festival.
18 Dec - Garuda Vahanam Ezhunnallathu (7.30 pm to 10.00 pm) - A holy evening procession through the Agraharam streets, with the idols carried on a Garuda-shaped palanquin accompanied by Nadaswaram, Thakil etc.
19 Dec - Kazcha Seeveli (4.30 pm to 8.00 pm) - A holy procession with caparisoned elephants and Panchavadyam, starting from one end of the Agraharam and concluding at the temple.
20 Dec - Radholsavam Day 1- Radharohanam (11.30 am, 20 minutes) - Ceremonial start of the chariot procession in the morning. Radha Prayanam (5.45 pm to 7.30 pm) - The chariot carrying the holy idols is pulled by devotees through the Agraharam streets using a long rope. The halting point for the day is near Sasthri Madom at one end of the street. A special Carnatic music concert will be held at night (9.30 pm to 11.30 pm).
21 Dec - Radholsavam Day 2- Radha Prayanam (5.45 pm to 8.30 pm) - The remaining part of the chariot procession is held in the evening and concludes at the temple .Immediately after this, the idols are carried on a palanquin to the households in the street (Gramapradakshinam) by children chanting holy Bhajans. Another Gramapradakshinam called Pallakku Kacheri is held late at night (10.00 pm to 2.30 am) with a special Nadaswaram recital.
22 Dec - Manjal Neerattu (7.30 am, 45 minutes) - The idols of Navaneetha Gopalakrishnan, Ganapathi, Mahalakshmi and Chakrathazhwar (Sree Chakram) are taken in procession by children through the street, and every household sprinkles turmeric water as a ritual. The procession leads to the village pond for Aarattu, the holy bath of the idols. The Aarattu ceremony concludes by 9.30 am.
